Goodbye Europe!
Our Olympic Odyssey has come to an end and we are going home with our minds filled with images of beautiful sites and new knowledge of the Olympic Games. I am so thankful to have gone on this trip. In such a short period of time we were able to see so many sites and learn a lot about them. The knowledge we gained from our professors and people along the way such as Niki is unique because it isn't things you'll learn from taking a regular tour through Europe. From taking the Tube, to meeting with the Paris bidding committee, hiking the Alps and getting a rare tour with an expert in Acropolis, we've had so many great experiences. This is thanks to the hard work of Professor Ryan and Professor Kim who were great educators and tour guides during this trip. It was nice to get to know them on a personal level outside of the classroom. I am also thankful to have met this group of people to share the experience with. Thank you Syracuse University, Professor Ryan, Professor Kim and all the students on the trip!
