Today was our first traveling day in Europe. We all met in the lobby of the hotel at 8:30am to head to the Eurotrain from London to Paris. After about two hours on the train, we finally arrived in Paris! After navigating ourselves to the hotel, we all ran across the street to a cafe to grab lunch and headed down towards the Eiffel Tower. The sight was truly breathtaking and we spent a decent amount of time taking in the view and taking photos with one another.
We then went under the Eiffel Tower where we took the incredible selfie posted below. After, we walked down the Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe where we took even more photos. The weather was beautiful so we wandered around the streets of Paris after.
At 9pm, we took a one hour boat tour down the Seine River. There, we were able to see all the iconic locations of Paris while taking in a beautiful sunset over the river. After the boat, we grabbed a bite to eat and returned home to get some sleep before meeting with the Paris 2024 Bid Committee in the morning.
